About BhumiBD

BhumiBD exists to make land information in Bangladesh easier to reach. Verifying ownership, working out an area, understanding how an inheritance divides — answering any of these normally means visiting several offices and websites. We brought the government data, open maps and explanatory writing together behind one Bengali-first interface.

What you can do here

• Khatian and dag search — index-level records from the Ministry of Land’s DLRMS, reached by division, district, upazila, survey and mouza.
• Land measurement — trace a boundary on high-resolution satellite imagery and read the area in decimals, katha, bigha, acres and square feet.
• Maps and layers — district, upazila and union boundaries, roads, rivers, schools and hospitals.
• Guides and Q&A — detailed explanations of reading a khatian, mutation, inheritance and land tax.

Where the data comes from

• Khatian and dag records: the public service of the Ministry of Land’s Digital Land Records Management System (DLRMS).
• Maps and place names: OpenStreetMap and associated services.
• Administrative boundaries: the geoBoundaries open dataset.
• Satellite imagery: the respective tile providers, under their own terms.

Where we stand

We think accessible land information means less fraud and fewer disputes. The service needs no registration, and the boundaries you draw and the searches you run are not stored on our servers.
